Public Speaking

Michal Klau-Stevens is a passionate, engaging public speaker who has shared her knowledge of citizens’ maternity care issues on the national stage for birth-related organizations such as the Coalition For Improving Maternity Services and The Birth Activist’s Collective.  Michal is a regular contributor to an NBC affiliate morning lifestyle show. She has presented locally at St. Francis and Hartford hospitals, and universities including Trinity College and Central Connecticut State University.  Her presentations will inform and entertain women and men of all ages.  She speaks from her experience with maternity and healthcare advocacy, women’s empowerment, and leadership.

Michal Klau-Stevens is a television host & producer’s dream. Not only is she full of relevant, useful information with incredible viewer benefit, she is incredibly organized and responsible. She responds to emails promptly, she sends her segment details days in advance, with both on-air talking points and web-ready copy, and she is wonderful on air. She arrives on time, polished and always with a smile. She is a true pleasure to work with!  ~Ashley Kohl, Host/Producer, ‘Mass Appeal’ on WWLP-22NEWS NBC Affiliate

Michal brings important topics to life through her dynamic speaking style.  My college students have regularly stated she was top guest speaker I’ve had in class and always encourage me to bring her back the next semester.  I see the students mentally connecting the dots as she’s speaking and I love the way she is able to tie it all together at the end of the presentation.  I can’t recommend her highly enough.  ~Maura Jo Lynch, Adjunct Professor CCSU, SCSU
